Bio

Divine Joyce Katushabe is a Ugandan gospel minister and author dedicated to sharing a message of hope, resilience, and purpose rooted in the Christian faith. Through her deeply personal and instructional writing, she aims to guide others toward understanding God’s grace and discovering their own unique calling.

Born in the small village of Katebe, Divine is the third of six children to Mr. Mugume Richard (RIP) and Mrs. Monica Mbabazi. Her mother introduced her to God at a very young age, a foundation that would prove essential throughout her life.

In her memoir, I AM A GIRL, she chronicles a challenging childhood marked by hardship, uncertainty and the profound loss of her father at a tender age . These early experiences of pain and emotional torment shaped the resilience that defines much of her testimony.

Joyce’s writing explores foundational Christian truths, from defining the path to spiritual greatness through service and humility to understanding the freedom believers have through the finished work of Christ.

She shares her own story of overcoming adversity not to attract pity, but to stand as living proof that God is real and can turn any situation around for His glory. Her message is a call for every person to find their purpose and to understand that their potential is not limited by their background, gender, or past mistakes.
